Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a GNC engineer to contribute to the Theater Strike Weapon System program portfolio, including Conventional Prompt Strike, Hypersonic Weapon Systems, Advanced Glide Systems, Hypersonic Payload Delivery systems, and other new and dynamic programs.

In this role you will develop and integrate guidance, navigation and control algorithms, and build high fidelity models and simulations using C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink on Linux clusters.

Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and analysis of guidance or navigation systems.
• Strong programming in C/C++ with ability to integrate Python and MATLAB/Simulink models.
• Proficient in linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, and coordinate transforms.

Responsibilities

• Apply GNC expertise to algorithms, modeling, and simulation for space systems.
• Integrate MATLAB/Simulink models into a 6-DOF C++ simulation and develop tests.
• Collaborate in an Agile DevOps environment with Docker/Container and Kubernetes.
