Summary

Yelp’s cutting-edge performance marketing team aims to connect consumers with local businesses and service professionals. Our team collaborates to drive growth and positive contribution margin by acquiring new customers and businesses, and maximizing revenue from paid marketing channels. We manage large budgets with dedicated support from channel partners and ample opportunities for growth.

We seek an experienced and strategic Digital Marketer with strong analytical skills and business acumen to join our performance marketing team. Using data and your marketing expertise, you will guide and deploy investments (7-figure monthly budgets) across Yelp's consumer acquisition efforts.

What you'll do:

• Translate thorough analysis into effective actions, bridging understanding and practical solutions.
• Manage daily operations of marketing campaigns (currently focused on SEM), including launching campaigns, optimizing bid strategies, ad copy, and landing pages.
• Analyze performance metrics from internal tools, third-party systems, APIs, and data feeds to drive profit growth.
• Monitor and report daily portfolio performance using in-house systems, Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
• Create a roadmap for continuous testing and optimization to enhance growth and efficiency.
• Conduct tests on SEM best practices, including portfolio expansion, traffic curation, and ad copy testing.
• Evaluate test results with Excel and statistical tools to determine success and significance, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in search ecosystem management.
• Collaborate with analytics and technology teams for performance deep dives and tool development.
• Commit to continuous improvement, testing new methods, and adapting strategies.

What it takes to succeed:

• 6+ years of experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and/or Facebook/Meta, managing large keyword portfolios and high monthly budgets.
• Deep understanding of automated bidding strategies like tCPA & tROAS.
• Exceptional analytical skills to turn trends into insights and hypotheses.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Vlookups, pivot tables); SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, including communication, coordination, influencing, and listening.
