Job summary

USAble Life is seeking a Group Underwriter IV to conduct risk assessment and rate Life, Disability, and Worksite products for diverse groups. You will prepare proposals, renewals, and pricing while mentoring junior underwriters and collaborating with sales staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• LOMA Certification or equivalent certification preferred.
• HIAA designation preferred for advanced underwriting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment and rate life, disability, and worksite products.
• Produce rates for new groups using company proposal system.
• Prepare formal proposals and renewals using word processing and spreadsheet tools.
• Assist in training lower level underwriters and sales staff.
• Verify data and finalize sold case ratings and pricing.
