Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced medical underwriter to guide risk selection for commercial health coverage applicants in coordination with multiple departments to ensure accurate account reporting.

The role involves proposing rates using carrier experience, demographics, and manual inputs, and performing post-sale reviews. Collaboration with product and sales teams will drive portfolio assessments and market-driven changes.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• CPCU, CLU, LOMA, HIAA, PAHM or other insurance related courses highly preferred.
• Level Funded medical underwriting experience highly preferred.
• Small group experience preferred.
