Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Group Director to lead and elevate client service for Financial Advisor and Private Wealth Advisor teams. You will shape the service model, oversee daily operations, and coordinate with partners to deliver exceptional client experiences.

The role requires extensive leadership, industry knowledge, and the ability to drive efficiency across teams while managing reports, meetings, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position required.
• Advanced degree or professional certification or industry experience required.
• Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating relationships with business partners and colleagues internally and externally.
• Supporting the FA/PWA/team in cultivating and enhancing client relationships through an exceptional client experience.
• Leading the team in developing and delivering the client service model and coordinating meetings and follow-ups.
• Preparing and reviewing client reports or financial plans from firm-approved systems for existing or prospective clients.
• Participating in client meetings to represent the service lens.
• Optimizing business practice efficiencies with the FA/PWA/team and partners.
• Overseeing Support Professionals to align with team priorities and goals.
• Coordinating business matters and tracking resolution with appropriate contacts.
