Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

The Senior Group Director, Business Analytics will lead the analytics, measurement, and business intelligence function for a major healthcare client across both Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for translating complex marketing, media, audience, and business questions into integrated measurement frameworks and actionable business recommendations that improve commercial outcomes.

As the senior client-facing analytics leader, the Senior Group Director partners closely with Client Solutions, Comms Design, Investment, Audience Intelligence, Data Science, Data Management, and client stakeholders to develop holistic measurement strategies, guide optimization decisions, and ensure analytics is fully integrated into planning, activation, and business decision-making.

This role serves as the bridge between strategic business questions and advanced analytical capabilities, ensuring that analytics evolves from campaign reporting to a core business decision-support capability.

Responsibilities
External facing responsibilities:
Strategic Analytics Partnership
  • Serve as the senior analytics advisor supporting HCP and DTC business teams across marketing, media, commercial, and analytics functions.
  • Consult with clients to identify business problems, commercial opportunities, and measurement priorities across the entire customer journey.
  • Develop client-specific measurement strategies aligned with brand objectives, omnichannel engagement, and commercial KPIs.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations and executive-level narratives.
Measurement & Business Intelligence
  • Lead development of integrated measurement plans spanning:
  • HCP media
  • DTC media
  • Audience activation
  • Define KPI frameworks that connect media performance to business outcomes including:
  • Qualified HCP reach
  • New-to-Brand prescriptions (NBRx)
  • Total prescriptions (TRx)
  • Brand adoption
  • Commercial performance
  • Drive adoption of modern measurement approaches including:
  • Incrementality testing
  • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
  • Multi-touch attribution (where appropriate)
  • Audience quality measurement
  • Partner with Audience Intelligence teams to develop data-driven audience strategies across HCP and DTC campaigns.
  • Guide application of:
  • First-party customer data
  • Identity resolution
  • Journey analytics
  • Ensure audience strategies are measurable and aligned to business objectives.
  • Define and execute client data strategies that maximize value from:

  • Identify opportunities to integrate new healthcare data assets into measurement and optimization frameworks.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Advise clients on emerging healthcare analytics capabilities including:

  • Privacy-safe measurement
  • Evaluate research partners, measurement vendors, and healthcare data providers.
  • Develop POVs on emerging technologies affecting healthcare marketing measurement.

Business Development
  • Support new business opportunities through analytics thought leadership and solution development.

  • Contribute to POVs, innovation initiatives, and healthcare analytics offerings across the agency.
  • Support revenue growth through expanded analytics consulting and measurement capabilities.
  • Stay informed on developments in:
  • Pharmaceutical commercialization
  • AI
  • Represent the agency at industry conferences and client forums.
Required Skills
  • Deep understanding of HCP and DTC marketing ecosystems.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical commercialization and omnichannel engagement.
  • Knowledge of physician engagement, patient journeys, and healthcare customer behavior.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media analytics, healthcare analytics, management consulting, or marketing science.
  • Strong experience supporting pharmaceutical or healthcare clients.
  • Experience developing integrated measurement strategies across HCP and DTC campaigns.
  • Experience working with media agencies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare data providers, or commercial analytics organizations.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics platforms including Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, cloud-based analytics environments, and healthcare data ecosystems.
