Job summary

The Ravin Group in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up commercial construction projects from planning through turnover, partnering with the on-site Superintendent to meet schedule and budget goals.

Candidates should have 6+ years of project management experience, a Bachelor's in Construction Management or equivalent, strong communication, and proficiency with Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience (6+ years) accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills interfacing with clients, officials, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Proven experience in project scheduling and working with scheduling software.
• Skilled at writing clear scopes of work for all trades.
• Solid financial management skills to track project costs.
• Proficiency with standard office and project management software; Procore experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams to collect and manage project documentation.
• Prepare bid packages and oversee distribution to subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop and update detailed project schedules and budgets weekly.
• Reconcile pre-construction budgets with final costs after bids.
• Track and manage all project financials with accurate accounting records.
• Lead regular team meetings to assess progress against schedule and budget.
• Conduct on-site visits as required by project phase and needs.
• Compile project manuals for turnover to property management teams.
• Coordinate turnover timelines with clients for a smooth transition.
• Support safety planning with the Superintendent and ensure OSHA/local compliance.
