Job summary

Edifice Construction in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager for ground-up commercial construction. You will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinate field operations, manage schedules and budgets, and lead client and subcontractor relationships to deliver high-quality work on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project buyout, subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and scope management.
• Manage project financials, including accounts receivable, pay applications, change orders, and cost reporting.
• Oversee shop drawing, submittal, RFI, and document control processes.
• Coordinate project planning and execution with field teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks, conflicts, and constructability issues.
• Support implementation of the project safety plan and quality assurance program with field leadership.
• Build and maintain strong client, design partner, and subcontractor relationships for successful delivery.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders throughout the construction process.
• Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list, final documentation, and owner turnover.
