Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field with safety-critical software experience.
• 5+ years in development of spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
• Strong Python skills and understanding of language concepts.
• Solid systems fundamentals: concurrency, networking, performance, reliability.
• Experience with real-time data acquisition, scaling, and distribution services with low-latency messaging.

Responsibilities

• Own Ground Segment Services: develop and maintain high-reliability telemetry ingestion, scaling, distribution, and commanding.
• Mission Control Interfaces: deliver operator-grade UIs and dashboards that optimize ops time and cognitive load.
• Simulation and Test Automation: build tools for flight-software simulations, device emulators, and automated tests.
• Build the Mission Platform: design and productionize software for mission and ground teams, CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Deployments Across Environments: create robust deployment patterns for lab benches, test stands, and mission networks.
