Job summary

York Space Systems seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own end-to-end development for a modern web-based platform used to monitor spacecraft constellations. You will be embedded at a local Mission Operation Center, often solo, with strong collaboration with Denver for direction and longer projects.

You should excel with TypeScript, React, C#, MSSQL, InfluxDB, Kafka and Python, and be ready for on-call support and travel to Denver for onboarding and team activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work independently as a primary technical resource without immediate peer support.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for your local MOC with high autonomy.
• Provide on-call support for mission-critical operations and incidents.
• Collaborate with Denver teams for feature development and longer-term work.
• Develop user-facing features using TypeScript, React, C#, MSSQL, InfluxDB, Kafka, and Python.
• Write tests and documentation; build scalable services for the platform.
