Job summary

Allegiant Air in Las Vegas seeks a Category Manager for Ground Operations Services & Equipment. You will own the procurement lifecycle for ground handling, deicing, wheelchair services, cleaning, and GSE, guiding strategy, sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

You will lead a small team, collaborate with station and operations leaders, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality and safety

Qualifications

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years in procurement, contract negotiations, and/or ground operations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Category Management for Ground Operations Services & Equipment.
Develop procurement strategies for ground handling, deicing, cleaning and GSE.
Analyze spending patterns and market trends across categories.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value improvement, and risk mitigation.
Set annual and multi-year cost reduction targets and service level goals.
