This role emphasizes production, quality, and safety in a busy material-processing environment. The position requires 10+ years of heavy equipment experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work outdoors in dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience operating heavy equipment across aggregate, recycling, forestry, land-clearing, or material-processing operations.
• Extensive experience operating horizontal grinders, excavators, wheel loaders, and related production equipment.
• Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate the CBI 6800 Horizontal Grinder or similar grinding equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the CBI 6800 Horizontal Grinder in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Load and feed material into the grinder using an excavator and wheel loader as needed.
• Maintain consistent material flow to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Monitor grinder performance and adjust feed rates based on material conditions.
• Ensure finished product meets quality and sizing specifications.
• Complete daily pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain equipment inspection reports and maintenance logs.
