Job summary

Motive Workforce seeks an experienced professional to lead grid strategy and interconnection for nationwide energy infrastructure projects, including utility-scale battery storage and on-site generation. The role combines technical evaluation with strategic project development to support commercial and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in interconnection strategy and project development.
Strong understanding of utility-scale storage, distributed energy resources, and data center power.
Ability to evaluate grid capacity, hosting capacity, and network upgrade costs.

Responsibilities

Lead interconnection strategy and execution for utility-scale battery storage, distributed energy resources, and on-site generation projects.
Manage the full interconnection lifecycle: site evaluation, queue positioning, applications, studies, and agreement negotiations.
Evaluate grid capacity, transmission constraints, hosting capacity, and project feasibility.
Review utility/ISO/RTO studies (load flow, short circuit, stability, contingency, deliverability).
Develop strategies to manage interconnection risks, optimize costs, and improve project schedules.
Collaborate with utilities, grid operators, and cross-functional teams to advance project approvals.
