Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead integrated ADMS/DERMS/SCADA/EMS architectures for utility clients in the US. You will collaborate with vendor and client teams, define solution options, and secure endorsements for the overall blueprint while guiding integration strategies.

You will mentor rising leaders, foster trust-based advisory relationships, and stay at the forefront of grid-management innovations, driving impactful, real-time solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or automation engineering with 5–7 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 7–9 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the electric utilities sector.
• Minimum 5 years of solution architecture experience.
• 5+ years direct involvement in real-time grid management (ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, EMS).

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in crafting integrated solution architectures of new and existing ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, and/or EMS systems.
• Collaborate closely with vendor and client architecture teams to delineate solution alternatives and steer pivotal decision-making.
• Guide the process of obtaining client endorsement for the overarching solution blueprint.
• Forge partnerships with integration leads to devise holistic integration architectures and strategies.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and pioneering grid management solutions, enhancing our portfolio for clients.
• Serve as a beacon of guidance and mentorship for aspiring leaders within M.C. Dean.
• Cultivate trust-based advisory relationships with clients across all levels of the business.
