The ideal candidate will have paired experience in Greenplum and PostgreSQL with emphasis on data warehousing. Qualifications

• 5+ to 7 years experience in relevant systems engineering.
• Ideal candidate has Greenplum Admin experience and familiarity with PostgreSQL from Hadoop environment.
• Sys Admin experience from UNIX/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Designs, documents, implements, monitors, and supports Unix, Linux, and SAN systems.
• Plans and manages enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Configures and supports SAN infrastructure including EMC and IBM systems.
• Responds to alerts or emergency issues within 15 minutes during business hours.
• Identifies opportunities for improvements and cost reductions in technology.
