Job summary
Crusoe is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the strategic greenfield startup of a high-volume manufacturing facility. You will bridge design engineering and factory operations, owning commissioning strategy, CapEx projects, and process definition.
You will mentor junior engineers and ensure equipment and facilities meet world-class standards for safety, quality, and efficiency, with a focus on scalable, repeatable assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience, with greenfield plant startup exposure.
- Experience leading capital projects, equipment installation, and FAT/SAT processes.
- Strong knowledge of building/safety codes and DFMA reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic greenfield startup of a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Own CapEx projects, equipment procurement, and FAT/SAT oversight.
- Define commissioning strategy, select capital equipment, and drive process definition.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive NPI initiatives, DFMA reviews, and changes management (ECOs).
- Set manufacturing documentation standards (SOPs, Work Instructions).
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Supply Chain on challenges.
