Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Senior GRCA/ Security Compliance lead to build and scale the governance, risk, and control activities within our Security Team. You will manage risks, automate compliance programs, and curate security practices information for customers as Verkada expands globally.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Security, IT, Engineering, Product and Legal to implement security controls, perform risk assessments, and drive annual audit readiness while maintaining customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security/IT compliance experience.
• Experience with audits (SOC 2, ISO27001) for cloud software.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GRCA function and scale security compliance programs.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering, Product and Legal to implement controls.
• Develop and maintain company-wide security policies and plans.
• Prepare risk assessments and risk treatment plans.
• Conduct vendor security assessments and manage exceptions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage communications.
• Ensure on-site operations and program delivery five days a week.
