Job summary

6sense is hiring a Senior Security Engineer, GRC, to build automated monitoring and evidence collection for governance, risk and compliance. The role emphasizes test-as-code, AI-native workflows, and strong collaboration with security, platform engineering and IT teams.

You will implement continuous control monitoring across ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and NIST, using AWS-native tools, CI/CD, and a focus on audit readiness through automated artifacts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a GRC or similar team.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Experience with AWS services for control monitoring and evidence generation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own automated security control monitoring.
• Write production-quality code under version control, CI/CD.
• Define technical signals, test frequencies, and alerting for controls.
• Develop self-service evidence collection in AWS.
• Move from manual testing to continuous control monitoring (CCM).
• Lead AI-native GRC processes with guardrails and human review.
