Blue Origin seeks an experienced engineer to design, build, and operate automation for security governance, risk, and compliance. You will automate evidence collection across cloud and SaaS, implement Compliance-as-Code, and integrate telemetry for proactive risk reporting.

The role emphasizes scalable automation and adherence to security frameworks in a space-focused engineering culture. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in production automation, experienced with CI/CD, IaC, and REST API

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production software or infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language (Python strongly preferred).
• Experience integrating disparate systems via REST APIs and automating data collection.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with configuration management and monitoring to ensure baselines.
• Ability to translate multi-stakeholder requirements into reliable automation.
• Bachelor's degree or certification in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Automating collection of compliance artifacts across cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Building and operating CI/CD pipelines and Compliance-as-Code.
• Automating configuration management and drift detection.
• Integrating security telemetry and findings for control-status reporting.
• Developing GRC dashboards and data-driven KPIs.
• Identifying manual processes to automate and streamline.
