Job summary

Sensiba is seeking a Senior GRC Auditor I to lead SOC 2 engagements and assess IT controls across client environments. You will coach teams, evaluate security and risk controls, and communicate findings to clients and leadership from Ireland.

The role blends automated evidence with manual audits in a remote-friendly setting. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT audit, SOC 2 experience, and relevant certifications, with strong English communication and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of IT Audit experience or Audit experience.
• Experience leading SOC 2 audits.
• Experience with controls reviews and advising on IT controls.
• Experience teaching, mentoring staff preferred.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIPP are a plus.
• Experience with SOC 2 readiness platforms (Drata, Vanta) preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication with clients and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct external audits of clients' business processes and IT controls.
• Observe, review, document, and test key controls across engagements.
• Review and test application controls in various systems and software.
• Evaluate client IT/security risks and recommend control measures.
• Assess security policies and risk management documentation for clients.
• Support security assessments for services and infrastructure.
• Develop strong client relationships and communicate audit findings clearly.
