Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own and scale GRC frameworks and AI governance across our hybrid cloud stack. You will translate control requirements into automation, embed compliance into CI/CD, and partner with legal, product, and engineering to keep audit-ready posture.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in GRC, hands-on compliance in AWS/GCP/Azure, and experience with Compliance-as-Code tools like Vanta or Drata, plus deep knowledge of SOC 2, NIST, ISO frameworks and AI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or engineering/STEM.
8+ years in GRC, security compliance, or technology audit with hands-on GRC engineering.
Experience implementing security frameworks in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Expert knowledge of SOC 2, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, ISO 42001; building and running controls.
Experience with Compliance-as-Code and GRC automation tooling (Vanta, Drata) and continuous monitoring.
Able to map control objectives to IT and cloud configurations with engineers.

Responsibilities

Own security compliance implementation and audits across core frameworks.
Design policy-as-code and automated evidence pipelines; integrate into dev workflows.
Operate GRC platforms and integrate with cloud, identity, and engineering tooling.
Embed compliance in design reviews and translate requirements into technical controls.
Develop and maintain corporate policies, standards, and procedures for AI governance.
