Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep experience designing and evolving GraphQL APIs (schema design, federation, resolver implementation, performance).
• Strong proficiency with production apps using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience modeling data across relational, document, and key-value databases.
• Experience building event-driven systems with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, or similar.
• Cloud-native development on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable GraphQL schemas, domain models, and backend services that support large-scale data updates.
• Develop cloud-agnostic, event-driven services for ingesting and distributing real-time data.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver platform capabilities and set technical direction.
• Improve scalability, resiliency, and observability of distributed systems through tuning, monitoring, and automation.
• Lead code reviews, implement CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture.
• Work in an Agile team to iteratively deliver high-quality software.
• Build the GraphQL data platform powering web, mobile, and real-time data products.
• Migrate REST and legacy services to federated GraphQL architectures.
• Develop high-throughput ingestion pipelines from third-party providers.
• Enhance observability through distributed tracing, metrics, and structured logging.
