Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an engineer to architect and implement GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications and tools. You will write code in C/C++, Perl and Python for well-defined components and maintain tests to verify performance.

You will identify design deficiencies, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to design reviews. A related Bachelor's degree is required and experience in graphics software is valued.

General Summary:

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the architecting, designing, implementing, and verifying, of the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools. Writes code for well-defined features, drivers, and APIs using different languages (e.g., C, C++, Perl, python). Maintains comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests using tools and methods for a specific, well-defined component to verify performance. Assists in identifying deficiencies in designs and works with team members to develop solutions to improve designs. Collaborates with team members to understand new features and functionality that align with needs and goals for implementation and customization. Writes detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for projects. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.

Pay Range:

$116,900.00 - $175,300.00/year
