Job summary

Hampton Products in Foothill Ranch, CA is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services Team. You will develop high-level print and packaging design assets from concept to final production, including social media, tradeshow art, motion graphics, and digital photography.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in visual communication or graphic design and at least 5 years of experience in a design studio, agency, or in-house team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in visual communication, or graphic design and 5+ years of progressive design experience.
• Knowledge of printing and publishing processes, 4 color workflow and digital prepress.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Outstanding project management and multi-tasking skills.
• Adaptive and able to change pace quickly and refocus as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design static and motion graphic assets for marketing, sales, and Hampton needs.
• Design product packaging prototypes and mock-ups.
• Develop illustrations, icons, graphics for brand assets.
• Edit and compose photographic assets for marketing and packaging requirements.
• Work with modeling and animation in 3D software.
• Video production, editing, and motion graphics for video and web-based platforms.
• Utilize AI prompting to create visual assets such as imagery and video.
• Maintain and safeguard brand standards, style guides and design language.
• Contribute to Digital Asset Management and project file organization.
• Participate in establishing production standards to maximize quality and minimize costs.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current design tools and techniques.
• Collaborate to research production alternatives including AI for cost savings.
• Contribute to production of printed packaging and sales collateral.
• Stay abreast of design and media delivery/production trends.
