Job summary

Network Runners, Inc. seeks two full-time Graphic Designers to support the Defense Health Agency and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s Hospital Communications Department.

You will translate complex medical and military information into compelling visuals across print, digital, and environmental media while safeguarding PHI and maintaining WRNMMC branding. The role requires at least five years of professional design experience, mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, and a portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• Five+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and pre-press workflows.
• Experience in healthcare communications, military public affairs, or similar regulated environments.
• Ability to safeguard HIPAA/PHI in visual content.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and production of publications, campaigns, signage, social media visuals, and multimedia assets.
• Manage full lifecycle of design projects with timelines and stakeholder coordination.
• Translate complex medical/military concepts into engaging visual infographics and layouts.
• Create and edit photo/video assets; integrate multimedia into cohesive products.
• Collaborate with Public Affairs to develop visual strategies for events and messaging.
• Coordinate with WRNMMC stakeholders to manage a high volume of concurrent projects.
• Oversee review/approval workflow with leadership; ensure brand and privacy standards.
