Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio (branding, print/digital layouts, infographics).
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with pre-press and digital file preparation.
• Experience in healthcare communications, military public affairs, or similar high-visibility environments.
• Understanding of HIPAA/PHI and how it applies to visual materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and production of visuals across publications, campaigns, environmental graphics, digital content, and social media.
• Manage project timelines, production calendars, and coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements.
• Translate medical and scientific concepts into clear infographics and visual aids for diverse audiences.
• Create and edit photo/video assets and integrate them into comprehensive visual products.
• Collaborate with public affairs to develop cohesive visual strategies for events and crises.
• Oversee the approval workflow, presenting concepts to senior designers for sign-off.
