Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Graphic Designer with expertise in design principles, an exceptional eye for detail, and a passion for producing creative and impactful visual materials that support the client’s mission and strengthen brand identity. This role will be located within the National Capital Region (NCR).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia products.
• Experience with Section 508 compliance for accessible design.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator) and balance across print/digital media.
• Portfolio showcasing a broad range of design work, including complex challenges.
• Experience in government or defense sectors and knowledge of DoD/IC processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply graphic design skills to create a wide range of deliverables (logos, publications, presentations, multimedia).
• Ensure accessibility and compliance with Section 508 standards.
• Leverage typography, hierarchy and visual balance to align with branding and messaging.
• Collaborate with a team of designers and stakeholders to translate project requirements and deliver solutions for government or defense priorities.
