Wheaton College seeks a talented Graphic Designer to bring our brand to life across print and digital experiences. This role supports enrollment, advancement, student engagement, and institutional communications with thoughtful, engaging creative.

Based in the Marketing & Communications team, you will collaborate with writers, photographers, videographers, and campus partners to deliver visually compelling work that also serves strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• 5+ years of graphic design experience.
• Or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Occasional evenings/weekends for major campus events.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop strategic visual communications across print, digital, web, email, environmental, and social media platforms that support Wheaton College’s priorities.
• Collaborate with directors, copywriters, photographers, videographers, web developers, and campus partners to translate objectives into visual storytelling.
• Translate marketing objectives and messaging into compelling visual storytelling for diverse audiences.
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution with attention to detail.
• Adapt assets across channels while maintaining brand standards and integrity.
• Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards, and AI-powered tools to improve quality and workflow.
