Job summary

NexPoint Advisors LP in Dallas seeks a hands-on Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. You will translate complex ideas into clear visuals for digital platforms, investor materials, and campaigns, supporting NexPoint’s brands and business lines.

The role requires a strong portfolio in branding and web design, plus proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and HTML/CSS. Collaboration across internal teams is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, web design, or digital content development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, web design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience editing and enhancing video content: intro/outro slides, overlays, basic motion graphics, splicing, transitions, stock footage.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD or similar), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word), and Canva Pro.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web publishing platforms; WordPress and Elementor experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of design principles: typography, color theory, layout, composition.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate design rationale clearly, adapt to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality graphics and layouts for digital and print use across websites, marketing collateral, social media, presentations, ads, and conference materials.
• Create polished, executive- and client-facing presentation materials for meetings and investor communications.
• Develop and maintain brand-consistent templates in Microsoft Office and Canva to support teams.
• Design and maintain website layouts, UI, and interactive elements to enhance usability and brand presentation.
• Develop and update web content within WordPress, ensuring consistency and strong UX.
• Collaborate with marketing partners, SEO vendors, and analytics resources for performance optimization.
• Partner with Communications and National Accounts for external messaging and branded content.
• Translate business objectives into effective visual solutions as a creative partner.
• Manage multiple projects across teams with balanced timelines and priorities.
