Job summary

Keadjian Associates, a Walnut Creek-based strategic communications firm, is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer. You will bring complex client initiatives to life with visual storytelling, collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

A 5+ year track record in graphic design, strong Adobe CS skills, and a compelling portfolio are essential. The role supports print and digital assets, with a flexible work setup that largely allows remote work while requiring weekly in-person team meetings

Qualifications

• 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency or in-house setting.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Strong layout, typography and visual hierarchy understanding.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow creative direction.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong layout and presentation design.
• Bachelor’s degree in design/graphic arts.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create a wide range of materials (facts sheets, presentations, infographics, reports, mailers, social posts, digital assets).
• Translate complex information into clear, visually engaging content.
• Collaborate with account teams on materials and creative direction.
• Own projects from concept through final execution.
• Provide innovative design approaches while ensuring brand consistency.
• Prepare and manage print production, including proofing and delivery.
• Participate in client-facing presentations and design reviews.
• Guide and mentor junior designers and share best practices.

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to help bring complex client initiatives to life through clear, compelling visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in graphic design including time at an agency or in-house experience supporting corporate communications, public relations or public affairs. • Provide innovative approaches to design while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output across all deliverables
• Prepare and manage print production, including file setup, proofing and final delivery
• Participate in client-facing presentations and design reviews, as needed
• Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers and contribute to team best practices

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design (including experience at a communications, public relations or public affairs agency or in a similar in-house position)
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Strong understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy
• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret and apply creative direction
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written direction with minimal oversight
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with web design, copywriting and editing is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in the design/graphic arts field
• Portfolio required (must demonstrate strong layout, typography and presentation design)

Expected Salary: This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year, alongside industry-leading benefits such as end-of-year profit sharing and a performance bonus program for eligible team members. While we anticipate that the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed near the entry or midpoint of the salary range, the starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including years of experience, relevant experience type, education and more.

Additional Benefits and Compensation: Keadjian Associates offers a discretionary bonus program for eligible team members, with bonuses awarded based on performance and contributions at the Company’s sole discretion. Additionally, eligible team members can participate in the Company’s 401(k) Program, with competitive employer contributions. The Company pays 100% of premiums for medical, dental and vision benefits for team members and covers 30% of spouse/dependent coverage, with buy-up options available for additional premiums and spouse/dependent coverage.
