The Opportunity

Our client, one of the largest and most established cannabis companies in the United States, is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join its marketing team in the Greater Boston area.

This is a hands-on creative role for an accomplished designer who enjoys producing high-quality work across a wide variety of platforms. The Senior Graphic Designer will support multiple consumer brands and will be responsible for projects spanning brand development, packaging, digital marketing, retail environments, point-of-sale materials, and campaign creative.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with excellent production skills and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly regulated consumer environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts across multiple consumer brands while maintaining established brand standards.
• Design packaging, labels, product materials, and other consumer-facing assets across multiple product categories.
• Create digital marketing materials including web graphics, social media creative, email assets, and other digital content.
• Develop retail and in-store materials including signage, merchandising, point-of-sale materials, and product-launch collateral.
• Work closely with the VP of Marketing and other members of the marketing team to support brand, digital, retail, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, packaging, and other applications.
• Collaborate with outside agencies, freelancers, printers, and other creative partners as needed.
• Utilize AI-enabled and modern creative tools to improve ideation, production efficiency, and creative workflows.
• Help expand internal creative capabilities, including video, motion graphics, 3D animation, and other emerging formats where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably involving consumer brands, packaging, retail, or digital marketing.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, packaging, digital, and production work.
• Experience developing print- and production-ready packaging files.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with project-management platforms and modern creative/AI tools is beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within cannabis, CPG, retail, or another regulated consumer-products industry is preferred.
• Experience designing for both digital and physical environments is also highly desirable.
• The position offers compensation of approximately $80,000 annually,based on experience. The company also offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off.
