The Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in supporting Happy Brands' digital and retail marketing efforts by developing high-impact, conversion-driven creative for eCommerce, retail partners, and direct-to-consumer channels. This role focuses on the creation of engaging email campaigns, SMS graphics, promotional landing pages, digital ads, and other marketing collateral that align with brand strategy and drive customer engagement.
This designer will have a deep understanding of the Happy Brands aesthetic, consumer behavior, and emerging digital trends. Working closely with the Ecomm, and Marketing teams, they will bring strategic campaigns to life across a variety of digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance creativity with performance goals, while maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Design and produce digital marketing assets for email, SMS, landing pages, digital ads, and promotional campaigns—optimized for both web and mobile experiences
- Build assets for Shopify-hosted platforms, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and responsive design across devices
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to execute creative that supports seasonal campaigns, launches, and ongoing DTC promotions
- Translate marketing briefs and brand strategy into high-performing visual content that engages customers and drives conversions
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Use Hive to track and manage project tasks, timelines, and status updates to ensure visibility and accountability across stakeholders
- Provide art direction and feedback to internal and freelance designers to ensure brand consistency and high-quality execution, if applicable
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute fresh concepts that align with customer trends, seasonal moments, and platform performance
- Maintain well-organized design files, templates, and asset libraries for streamlined collaboration and handoff
- Produce digital assets for retail partners and sales collateral as needed, including branded graphics, banner ads, and promotional content

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in digital art, graphic design, visual communications, marketing or related field required or equivalent of years of experience
- 5-8 years of experience in a design role at a creative agency, design firm, or in-house creative team
Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Lightroom)
- Experienced in Microsoft Office and Teams
- Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
- Video editing and motion design experience is preferred
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention-to-detail
- Skilled in project prioritization
- MacOS experience preferred
- Product knowledge and brand identification a plus
- Project Management software preferred
- Digital Asset Management software preferred
