Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public Administration or related field.
• Five years of work experience including 2 years supervising technical grant issues.
• Experience with federal grants and public safety grants preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage grant proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise annual grant funding plans for MPD.
• Design and manage grant management and compliance systems.
• Negotiate and prepare grant agreements and amendments.
• Prepare payments requests and close out reports.
• Provide period status reports to senior management and City Council.
• Monitor compliance with federal guidelines for expenditures.
