Job summary

CACF, based in New York, seeks a Senior Manager of Grants & Contracts to lead grantmaking, subcontracting portfolios, and compliance across contracts. The role collaborates with the Director of Grants & Contracts and senior leaders to advance CACF’s mission and systems-change goals.

The Senior Manager will supervise two Grants Coordinators and two Senior Contracts Coordinators, shaping team development, and ensuring effective stewardship of resources for AAPI communities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and administering government contracts, preferably NYC city and state.
• Excellent organizational skills and expertise with spreadsheets.
• Financial management skills including budgets and financial reporting.
• Excellent project management and supervision of administrative projects.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
• Strong understanding of AAPI communities and nonprofit organizations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; persuasive and collaborative.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide proactive staff support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CACF’s grantmaking and subcontracted programs, ensuring compliance across contracts.
• Supervise portfolio staff and align work plans with CACF mission and strategic plan.
• Develop and strengthen external partnerships and cross-team communication.
• Design and manage evaluation plans and produce impact materials for portfolio programs.
• Provide guidance on implementation of portfolios and ensure timely task execution.
• Engage in partnerships, policy movements, and external advocacy to advance CACF’s goals.
