Job summary

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) seeks a Senior Community Investment Officer to lead grantmaking strategy, manage programs, and evaluate outcomes that advance community impact.

You will cultivate relationships with funders, nonprofits, and community partners; oversee program design, evaluation, and reporting; and collaborate with leadership to implement AAACF’s strategic priorities in Washtenaw County.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in an administrative management role.
• Project management experience, with formal training a plus.
• Completion of an advanced degree (e.g. MA, MBA, MPH, MPP, JD, etc.)
• At least four to six years of progressively more responsible experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or community change.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic grant programs design and implementation within AAACF’s portfolio.
• Develops evaluation systems to determine outcomes and impact of grants.
• Manages grant program budgets and reporting to the Board.
• Builds relationships with donors, nonprofit partners, and community organizations.
• Represents AAACF in community forums and with stakeholders.
