Questar III BOCES is seeking a Senior Grant Writer and Facilitator to lead grant development, writing, and support for district and BOCES needs in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY. You will identify opportunities, draft proposals, and guide districts through submission and management processes.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with Title and IDEA-funded programs, a proven track record securing competitive grants, and strong writing, research, and project-management skills to support

Qualifications

• Experience with K–12 federal and state grants, including Title programs and IDEA.
• Proven success in writing competitive grant applications and securing funding.
• Strong writing, research, organizational, and project-management abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, compliance, reporting, and grant regulations.

Responsabilités

• Identify needs and develop fundable project concepts with district leaders.
• Write and submit competitive grant applications for districts and BOCES.
• Develop narratives, needs statements, goals and objectives, budgets, and evaluation plans.
• Manage grant applications from concept to submission and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Provide technical assistance related to Title, IDEA, and other grants.
• Support grant implementation, compliance, reporting, and monitoring.
• Develop regional applications involving multiple districts when appropriate.
• Review grant drafts submitted by districts and provide guidance.
• Maintain records of submissions, awards, and funding.
• Provide workshops and consultation on grant writing and management.
