Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Elevator Operator III in Illinois to manage loading, unloading, and transferring grain and grain products with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and efficiency. The role covers operating grain handling equipment, assisting with storage, and maintaining facilities and equipment.

You will perform grain receiving, weighing, grading, inspect barges, trucks, and railcars, monitor equipment, and contribute to a strong safety program.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
• Ability to lead others and maintain good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring grain and grain products for truck, barge, and rail.
• Perform grain receiving, weighing, and grading duties; assist with unloading/loading trucks, barges, and rail.
• Inspect barges, trucks, and railcars before loading.
• Operate and monitor grain handling equipment (grain dryer, control room, bin sweeps, locomotives).
• Perform maintenance tasks and fabrications as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and documentation.
• Adhere to Bunge safety programs and environmental regulations.
• Record all applicable documentation accurately.
