Job summary

Designworks Talent LLC is seeking a Staff Virtualization & Orchestration Engineer in a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA. You will design and operate virtualization, Kubernetes provisioning, and multi-tenant orchestration for large-scale AI infrastructure.

Work involves workload scheduling, resource management, cluster lifecycle operations, and automation to improve reliability and developer experience. You’ll partner with hardware, networking, and AI platform teams to align platform decisions

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.
Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale infrastructure platforms.
Background with virtualization technologies supporting cloud/HPC/GPU.
Understanding GPU cluster provisioning, workload scheduling, and resource management.
Experience with Linux-based infrastructure and distributed systems concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and build virtualization infrastructure supporting GPU-intensive AI workloads.
Develop and operate Kubernetes-based orchestration systems for GPU provisioning and scheduling.
Build automated provisioning systems for multi-tenant GPU capacity.
Design workload placement, resource management, and cluster lifecycle solutions.
Partner with hardware, networking, and AI platform teams to align orchestration with architectures.
Improve reliability, security, and scalability of the orchestration platform.
Build tooling that simplifies infrastructure management and developer experience.
Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, and best practices.
