You’ll collaborate with research, SW/HW/ML teams to translate pre-product ML into validated, scalable medical device solutions. The role emphasizes optimizing GPU compute, system integration, Linux virtualization, and end-to-end embodied intelligence projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 6+ years embedded systems software development with real-time, high-performance embodied AI.
• Expert in GPU Compute API - CUDA, OpenCL.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Bash and building real-time, multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with industrial embedded operating systems (QNX, Yocto) and interprocess communication.
• Experience with machine learning models and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Experience in robotics, including motion control, perception, sensor fusion, path planning, and optimizing models for constrained platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• GPU & Model Performance & Optimization: Profile, trace, and debug to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• System Architecture & Integration: Design interfaces between robotic subsystems and edge/cloud services.
• Linux Systems & Virtualization: Develop Linux kernel internals, drivers, memory management, and container runtimes.
• Project Ownership & Strategy: Lead embodied intelligence projects and define strategic roadmap for robotics platform.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with motion controls, perception, and hardware teams on clinical and safety requirements.
• Iterative Development: Balance technical feasibility with schedules and resources; evolve from exploration to implementation.
