Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a senior engineer to design and optimize GPU clusters for enterprise AI mission systems in a secure DoD environment. You will work with Linux-based systems, NVIDIA data center platforms, and cloud/virtualization tools to push performance and security boundaries.

You should have 10+ years in the field, hold TS/SCI with CI polygraph, and be proficient in Kubernetes, Argo, Kubeflow, and monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU data center platforms (DGX, HGX, H200, H100, L4s).
• DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II certification required; Level III acceptable.
• At least 10 years in the field across Linux, AI/ML, and GPU ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters.
• Collaborate to optimize architectures for performance and power efficiency.
• Integrate GPUs with Linux-based systems and optimize drivers.
• Analyze performance and bottlenecks across hardware and software layers.
• Develop tools and automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Salt.
