Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara seeks an exceptional hands-on engineer to help partners and customers run demanding physics and robotics simulation workloads on NVIDIA platforms. 12+ years of relevant experience.
Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Science, or related field.
Public stewardship of an open-source engine, library, benchmark, or software framework.

Responsibilities

Establish performance strategies for physics, robotics simulation, and computational engineering workloads on NVIDIA GPUs.
Build benchmarks and performance models, profile applications from system architecture to GPU kernels.
Improve algorithms, data structures, memory layouts, and parallel execution; collaborate with NVIDIA teams when bottlenecks are platform-related.
Apply knowledge of reinforcement learning and robotics kinematics to partner challenges.
Write production C++, CUDA, Python, and domain-specific GPU code into platforms and reference implementations.
Collaborate across developers, NVIDIA architecture teams, and open communities to ensure lasting improvements.
