Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a System Software Engineer to join the GPU Performance and Power Management Software team. You will design, develop, and debug production software for P-states, DVFS, and power-management controllers on data‑center GPUs.

You will work at the intersection of hardware and software across drivers, OS, and AI workloads, contributing from design through production support and silicon bring‑up. This role offers a chance to influence next‑gen processors and build scalable frameworks

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in system software, embedded firmware, or drivers.
• Proficient in C with low-level software experience.
• Strong OS, device-driver, and hardware-software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect and debug GPU power and performance management software.
• Develop policies and real-time control for DVFS and P-states.
• Own features across full product lifecycle from design to production.
• Collaborate with GPU architects and hardware designers on interfaces.
• Analyze interactions among workloads, clocks, voltages, and power.
• Lead investigations of complex power, performance, and reliability issues.
• Develop validation strategies and automation for correctness.
