Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks an engineer to join its GPU ASICS Engineering team. The role focuses on architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing GPU cores with emphasis on performance and power efficiency.

The engineer will verify Graphics IP, perform pre- and post-silicon verification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project targets. Documentation and internal testing frameworks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years’ experience; or a Master's with 3+; or PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and verify GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools.
• Create and maintain verification test benches and environments with SystemVerilog/UVM.
• Develop advanced testing frameworks for real-world system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test methodologies and content.
• Participate in GPU architecture and micro-architecture reviews.
• Collect and execute system-level tests including benchmarks and compliance.
• Automate CI and testing for latest GPU IP.
• Analyze results to track benchmarks and identify issues.
• Document specifications and feature descriptions under supervision.
