Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG seeks a senior AI infrastructure architect to own the technical architecture for GPU and accelerated compute in data center programs.

You will translate AI training, inference, and HPC requirements into deployable compute solutions and lead customer-facing activities from discovery to deployment. You will design scalable GPU clusters, define platform sizing, and collaborate with OEMs and delivery teams to ensure end-to-end success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data center compute, HPC, or AI infra roles.
• Deep GPU/accelerated compute and large-scale cluster experience.
• Strong knowledge of GPU servers, PCIe, NVMe, memory, and BIOS/BMC.
• Experience sizing compute platforms and creating reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and architecture for GPU/compute opportunities in AI data centers.
• Design scalable GPU clusters and accelerated compute platforms across hardware subsystems.
• Translate workload and performance needs into platform sizing and standards.
• Evaluate next-gen GPU/server platforms per customer requirements.
• Define dependencies across network, storage, power, cooling, and rack design.
• Support cluster bring-up, validation, benchmarking, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Network/Storage Solution Architects for end-to-end balance.
• Engage with OEMs, Professional Services, and delivery teams for deployment at scale.
• Support RFQs/RFPs, workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Develop repeatable reference architectures and technical standards.
