Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a creative engineer to design, develop, and validate SOC boot and security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms, based in Santa Clara, CA. You will participate in the silicon lifecycle from pre-silicon simulation to bring-up.

The role requires 5+ years in firmware, strong C, PCIE/ACPI, and ARM/RISC-V expertise, plus defensive security skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of proven experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency in bare-metal firmware development, PCIE, ACPI and ARM/RISC-V technologies.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate SOC & GPU Boot and Security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
• Participate in the silicon lifecycle from pre-silicon simulation to bring-up phases.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues within the Boot stack with detailed operation.
• Collaborate with architecture, software, and hardware teams to advance future SoCs.
