Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build accelerated PyTorch-based solutions for large-scale ML models. You will work on GNNs, TFMs, and ensemble models, advancing training and inference on GPU infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) + 5+ years of relevant experience in large-scale ML, DL, and data science; or a Master’s/PhD + 3+ years
• 3+ years of experience with PyTorch
• 2+ years of training enterprise-scale ML models across distributed infrastructure
• 2+ years of designing and operating efficient training and inference workflows on GPU infrastructure
• Excellent C++ programming and software design skills
• Proven experience developing, debugging, and optimizing high-performance applications, preferably with CUDA
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation habits

Responsibilities

• Develop accelerated, PyTorch-based solutions for large-scale ML models on GPU infrastructure
• Support CUDA-X Libraries and integrations used in PyTorch-based workflows
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and scientists to develop GNN models and GPU-accelerated implementations
• Gather requirements from customers and Solutions Architects to guide priorities
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the team
• Identify opportunities to improve the codebase and reduce maintenance overhead
• Apply agentic coding tools to identify and fix bugs and refactor code
• Solve complex technical issues and coordinate across teams
