DCS Corp is seeking a qualified engineering professional in Patuxent Highland, Maryland, to help the Navy modernize aircraft navigation systems using cutting-edge GPS technologies. The role involves evaluating vendor integrations and reviewing essential technical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with military aircraft avionics for GPS systems. Skills in communication and teamwork are essential.
Salary Range: $90,220 - $140,000
Help the Navy modernize aircraft navigation systems with the latest GPS technologies.
Work independently and as part of a team to evaluate vendor and government led integrations for upgrading GPS navigation systems with the latest multi-frequency technologies. Review software and hardware requirements, design documentation, test plans, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, minimum 8 years of experience, at least 3 years of experience supporting aircraft avionics integrations of GPS navigation systems, preferably into military aircraft.
Good written and oral communications. Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams.
Familiar with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review processes. Familiar with Navy acquisition regulations and processes. Master's degree in aeronautical, systems, electrical, or computer engineering.
