Watlow’s Global Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Sr. Special Programs & Government Security Solutions Manager to lead compliance efforts and strengthen relationships with government, aerospace, and defense customers.

The role focuses on DFAR/FAR, CUI/CDI/CMMC, and ITAR/sensitive programs, reporting to the AGC, Global Trade Compliance. You’ll collaborate with Business Development, Contracts, Cybersecurity, and Global Trade Compliance to monitor requirements, support audits, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in government and defense sectors.
• Experience with federal, state, and local government contracts.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes including DPAS.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with government regulations and contract flow-down obligations in project execution and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant solutions meeting client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders across federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist with technology management controls and ITAR-related topics when applicable.
• Support internal audits, self-assessments, and external certification processes.
• Support government registrations and procurement processes (SAM, VIPERS, DoD SPPR) and related licensing considerations.
• Assist with investigations and disclosures and mandatory reporting requirements with emphasis on NISPOM obligations.
• Contribute to anti-corruption and FCPA program development and training.
