Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Government Project Accountant to support complex government projects from our Boca Raton office.

You will oversee contract administration, client invoicing, and financial reporting in coordination with project managers and internal teams. Ideal candidates will have extensive government accounting experience, knowledge of FAR and cost accounting principles, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or contract administration for a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of job costing and government program billing.
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration for government projects and advise on financial matters.
• Prepare, review, and finalize invoices with supporting documentation.
• Analyze project revenue, costs, and variances; support PMs and leadership.
• Develop estimates, budgets, and cost tracking; assist in audits and compliance.
• Lead department processes and reporting using Excel/SQL as needed.
