Job Description

The Senior Government Pricing and Contracting Manager will develop and implement pricing strategies, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include managing government pricing submissions for Medicare Part D, VA, Medicaid, 340B, and state reporting. The role requires industry knowledge, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration. Reports to the Director of Market Access and involves up to 20% travel. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government pricing programs and develop SOPs for submissions.
• Collaborate with teams on commercial strategies and pricing changes.
• Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting pricing and reporting.
• Analyze market trends and pricing data to inform decisions.
• Manage third-party providers for calculations, rebating, and payments.
• Understand and execute supplemental rebate agreements.

Contracting & Additional Duties

• Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Support contracting strategies across various channels.
• Manage contract lifecycle, including evaluation, execution, and monitoring.
• Coordinate rebate processing and payment with vendors.
• Align strategies with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Business or related; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in Government Pricing and Contracting in pharma, with experience in pricing software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.
